Signage of Art Museum Hyacinthe Rigaud

Architect Stéphane Barbotin-Larrieu
As part of its expansion and renovation, the Hyacinthe Rigaud Museum of Art in Perpignan assigned us to design and monitor the signage, the graphics of the 4 permanent exhibitions, as well as the design of the reception and rest furniture. The gradient on which the information is based starts at the exact shade of the architectural support and ends with a strong orange. For wall information, medium thickness varies and accompanies this gradient. The elements seem to spring from the wall, to become one with the building.
A specific typography and identity –Ciment– has been developped.
