Signage of museum
2018, Lodève (34) – France
with Amélie Lebleu
Client Communauté de communes Lodévois et Larzac
The signage of the Lodève museum is part of the overall design:
visual identity and graphic design of exhibitions.
Echoing the architectural details, the orientation and identification information are written on varnished steel supports, in Cement-semi typeface. In the large reception room of the museum, the signage is made of steel cut into the volume and anchored directly into the poured concrete. The sign that links communication and signage is in Memory typeface. In black steel, it comes on the raw steel of the entrance fault that will oxidize over time, creating over the years a contrast more and more marked.
